Sharing a valley with Hinterglemm, Saalbach has double the choice of activities and range of slopes. Part of the infamous Ski Circus, it is located conveniently near Salzburg and offers an extensive ski area filled with beginner and intermediate terrain. 

On a package holiday to Saalbach you stay in a pretty traditional village with a very lively nightlife however, unlike others, its extensive links with neighbouring resorts means there is plenty of skiing for everyone. The valley is excellent at snow making however the south facing slopes and particularly the lower ones deteriorate quickly in good weather. With few advanced courses the resort is well-suited to beginners and intermediates. 

Après ski - you are spoilt for choice; indoor pools, tennis courts, bowling and skating are all available while the nightlife boasts ample bars, discos and eateries. As a resort with so much going on a ski holiday to Saalbach surely caters for all tastes.
