The largest resort in the Wildschonau Valley, Niederau is twinned with neighbouring village Oberau. Less is more on a ski holiday in Niederau, brilliant for beginners; good for intermediates the terrain has little to offer experts. Ski holidays in Niederau are characterised by the friendly locals, picturesque scenery and family atmosphere. With everything close to hand, excellent ski schools and confidence boosting runs the resort is great for families on a package holiday in Austria. Après ski and evening entertainment is informal but varied, on a ski holiday to Niederau you will find something to suit you. Numerous eateries and bars are the focus of the resorts low key nightlife however there are more unusual ways of spending your evening. If you don't get enough action during the day you can go night skiing, a moonlit sleigh ride or bowling. For novices and families Niederau is an Austrian nirvana. Brilliant for beginners, good for intermediates, very limited for experts - less is more in this village twinned with the neighbouring village of Oberau. The less you've skied, the more you'll get out of this novices' nirvana.
