An intermediate & advanced skiers mecca, the mountain is awesome - some chutes have to be seen to be believed! There are greens & blues that weave their way gently down from the top of the Golden Eagle Express Gondola providing ample entertainment for beginners - but more testing terrain is where Kicking Horse really shines. Untracked powder in the numerous bowls & glades flanking the steep ridges. Adrenaline junkies can charge down a 4,000 foot ski out, the second longest in Canada. There's a great deal of Canadian history here; right now there's rapid growth with investment in both lifts & high quality slope side accommodation. The reason for all the investment is the resort's ideal geographic position - which means it gets ample supplies of light, dry snow - it's 'champagne powder heaven'. Stay here for easy access to great slopes, good quality accommodation & top rate restaurants. If you opt for ski or board tuition then video analysis is included for all 6 day courses.
