On the edge of the superb Milky Way area, Montgenevre offers excellent skiing in a charming and traditional resort. The attractive alpine village is home to some welcoming and friendly hotels close to the resort centre - surely ideal for a family ski holiday to Montgenevre. The Franco - Italian Milky Way ski circuit has over 400km of piste and is covered by the Grand Galaxy lift pass extension therefore connecting your ski holiday to Montgenevre with a days skiing in Serre Chevalier, Les Deux Alpes and St Vincent - providing excellent skiing for the more advanced. Ski schools and excellent local slopes are confidence boosting for beginners and intermediates while two open bowls and snow park keep snow boarders entertained. Off the piste there is an immense range of facilities including a cinema, fitness centre, parapenting, ice skating, shopping and walking trails. The après ski scene is very informal with a solid range of restaurants, offering local specialities as well as international cuisine. The bars and discos are good value with lively atmospheres. As if all this wasn't enough, book your ski holiday to Montgenevre for January and you will be thrown into the annual festival, 'Les Januades' during which there is jazz, cinema, theatre and cabarets every night.
