Holidays to Oahu

Housing some of Hawaii's most famous locations such as Waikiki and Honolulu, Oahu is a tropical city complete with bustling nightlife and a skyline that many cities would envy, yet despite this, the miles of beaches surrounding the island remind you just exactly where you are - paradise.

Water sports are a staple of a holiday in Oahu, with snorkelling, surfing, kayaking and boogie boarding in abundance. There are also a number of spas located beachside around the island, meaning that classes such as yoga or Tai chi are often enjoyed overlooking the sea. 

Due to the year-round good weather in Oahu, parasailing, gliding and sky diving are always on offer, but if you prefer to keep your feet firmly on the ground during your summer holiday, why not take a historic walking tour of Waikiki or perhaps pay your respects at the U.S.S. Memorials at Pearl Harbour.

In the evening, why not visit the Paradise Cove Luau at Leeward Coast; the only beachfront luau in Oahu, or the Hawaii Opera Theatre in Honolulu where regular well-known classical productions are performed - no holiday to Oahu would be complete without sampling one of these experiences.

As with any major city, shopping in Oahu is very cosmopolitan and includes many designer brands and American department stores, whilst the dining options vary in style from traditional Hawaiian fare to delicious Japanese and Thai, with a few old regulars thrown in such as Planet Hollywood.
