Beaches

Holidays to Cala Llonga land you by a 200m curve of sandy beach. If it is natural sights you are after, you can't get better than Sant Carles, a traditional village surrounded by sweet-smelling orchards and pine trees.

Eating Out

In and around the resort of Cala Llonga you'll find all kinds of international fare, including British, Chinese and Indian eateries. Family-friendly Sol d'en Serra by the seafront has a good mix of everything on their menu. For something really special, visit Wild Asparagus in the countryside near Cala Llonga. Dishes like monkfish in champagne followed with chocolate souffle make this eatery an unmissable place to try out the local produce at its most fancy. The Austrian chef at La Casita, in nearby Valverde, serves experimental gastronomy such as fig soup and sweet hot fruit curry.

Shopping

Holidays in Cala Llonga aren't really designed for shopping - unless you want to venture outside the resort to the well-recommended and vibrant Es Cana and San Antonio hippy markets. The resort has plenty of souvenir shops and supermarkets for if you're on a self-catering holiday to Cala Llonga, but a wider choice of shops and malls can be found in Ibiza Town or Santa Eulalia.

Nightlife

Most of the nightlife in Cala Llonga is centred in the all-inclusive hotels, and you'll find the live shows, family-orientated discos and karaoke competitions will keep you thoroughly entertained. Outside the hotels, Mister Cairos, with its live music and great cocktail selection comes recommended. Athena Bar, a short walk up the hill, and Bar Madison are the livelier venues if you want to get dancing to some popular tunes.
