Beaches

Ibiza has a wealth of beaches surrounding it, from bustling beaching with sun-loungers to discovering your very own secret cove to retreat in. Stretching for over two miles of winding southeast coast line is Playa d'en Bossa that intertwines in to Figueretes creating one of the most picturesque beaches on the island. If you want to find a beaches where you will not be discovered head to the southern shores to Playa Codolar. The beach here is pebbly and if you don't mind the odd rumble of a plane - as it's quite close to the airport - this is the ideal spot for some time to yourself as there is never more than a handful of other sun worshippers around. If your wanting daffodil yellow sands and Safire blue sea head to the east of the island. Cala San Vincents is a lively coastal area full of bars and restaurants. Across the beaches of Ibiza you will find water-sports activities from pedalos to diving in the coral reefs.

The warm, clear waters of Ibiza make the island perfect for viewing from underwater.
