A popular day trip is out to Lake Pomorie, a salt lake famous for its mud baths. The mud has numerous medicinal and cosmetic benefits, and a sanatorium uses the mud to relieve all manner of ailments, aches and pains. The lake has a wealth of different bird species and a pleasant sandy beach.

The new town...

The new town is also worth a visit on Nessebar holidays for its great shopping, café culture and great places to eat. It's the best place to browse for local crafts, and in the evenings, there is a superb line-up of seafood restaurants and lively bars. Nearby Sunny Beach has plenty of nightlife options, including trendy bars, varied international restaurants and a big casino.
