St Julian's is a lively Maltese town on the east coast. Once a tiny fishing village, it has blossomed into a colourful holiday destination with a stunning coastline, thriving nightlife and plenty to see and do. Like most of Malta, St Julian's doesn't have any traditional bucket'n'spade beaches, but the dramatic rocky coastline is the best place to sit out in the sunshine and go for a dip in the Mediterranean.

Boat trips are incredibly popular in Malta, and it's easy to hop on one in neighbouring Sliema for a tour around the island to discover the tiny islands and hidden coves. You'll even be able to visit a couple of real sandy beaches. The historical capital of Valletta is nearby and an absolute must for day trips on St Julian's holidays. A historic and cultured city, it is packed with interesting architecture, churches and monuments.

Romantic boat trips at sunset are a must for couples' holidays. Malta's pink and blue evening skies are an unforgettable sight across the sparkling bay, and the numerous fine dining restaurants and chic bars on the waterfront are the ideal place for a candlelit dinner for two.

The nightlife in St Julian's is one of its biggest attractions, with a fantastic variety of relaxed cafés, delicious restaurants, stylish bars and big clubs boasting famous DJs. There are also plenty of takeaways and pizza places to kick off a long night out.
